Program Note:

I conceived B.A.M.F. as a flashy closer / encore piece, complete with all sorts of goodies like irregular accents, glissandi, and of course power chords. For the record, “B.A.M.F.” stands for “Bananas, Apples, Melons, and Figs”, after my favourite fruits. Why, what did you think in meant?

B.A.M.F. is dedicated to American cellist-composer Robbie Bui.
